How to create Anchor Jump Link for landing page – Thrive Architect

In this video today, we are going to learn how to create anchor jump link in thrive architect plugin. It is very common to use anchor jump link on your pages, posts and especially in landing page. Anchor jump link is also called as an internal link which takes a visitor elsewhere on your own website. The topic today will show you how to create anchor links for texts and buttons in the landing page of Thrive Architect. Let’s look at the screen to learn step by step.

Here is the sample of landing page https://elsa.englishvlog.com/register/. It has two sections A and B. Section A is the introduction of the product. Section B is the offer for customers with register link.

Case 1: The idea is that when visitor clicks on the text of section A “How to speak English Faster?”, and it will take him to the section B of landing page.  Let’s see step by step.

Step 1: Firstly, click and scan the text and press “insert link” in the same way like what you often do with hyperlink. Then you assign an anchor name into the box with the hashtag character preceding. For example #cambly

Step 2: Secondly, move to the section B. Click on the content box section (same for background section, Heading, Paragraph text etc). Then, scroll the left side bar to the bottom. At the “style & template”, you input the earlier anchor name into the ID area as “Cambly” without hashtag.

Step 3: The final step is that you will save the setting. Then run the landing page again. Now you click on the text of section A, it will jump to section B. That’s it! It works now!

Case 2: Imagine that when visitor clicks on button “Read more” of section A, it will take visitors to the section B with offer information. The way is same as that of the Case 1.

Step 1: Firstly, you click on the button of section A. On the left side bar, you will find the “button link”, then you assign the anchor name to the box with hashtag preceding, #readmore for example.

Step 2: Secondly, move to the section B. Click on the Content Box section (same for background section, Heading, Paragraph text etc). Then, scroll the left side bar to the bottom. At the “style & template”, you input the earlier anchor name into the ID area as “readmore” without hashtag.

Step 3: The final step is that you will save the setting. Then you run the landing page again. Now you click on the button of section A, it will jump to section B. It’s so easy, right?
